The Nokia 9.3 PureView smartphone, which is still in the testing phase, may feature a camera with the capability of shooting 8K videos at 30 frames per second (fps), according to a report by Nokia Power User.
However, there is no surety if the final device will have such a feature. This is because HMD, the Nokia brand licensee, has not yet finalized the camera and is working on algorithms.
The imaging team of HMD is reportedly focusing on pro and night camera modes.
Pro mode may have refined algorithms and improved controls. On the other hand, night mode may see improved quality because of the inclusion of OIS and a bigger pixel size.
The tech website has also reported leaked specs of the Nokia 9.3 PureView. The phone is expected to feature a full-face display with minimal bezels.
It may have Android 10 and 6 GB/8 GB LPPDDR4X RAM. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
The phone may feature a 6.29” QHD+ pOLED display and 32 MP selfie camera. It could sport a 108 MP sensor along with a 64 MP main sensor in its penta-rear camera setup. It is expected to be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery.
Last month a Nokia-specific tipster had spoken about the colour options of the Nokia 9.3 PureView device. This was acknowledged by Nokia's Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas, who dropped a hint regarding the colour variants the phones will be available in. According to him, his favorite options are Polar Night along with copper hues.
