Home News Tech These are the Specs of the Redmi ‘s Upcoming Flagship

Redmi has been on a roll lately, with the Redmi Note 7 series turning out to be really successful, but they aren’t stopping at that. There has been a lot of rumors of late about a Redmi flagship that will feature some top of the line specs at a very modest price. The rumors also suggest that this Redmi flagship will be the Poco F2 in India. Well, if you have been wanting to know more about this Redmi flagship, aka the alleged Poco F1, we have some good news for you. The specs of the upcoming device have leaked on Weibo, so let’s take a look.

According to the leak, the Redmi flagship smartphone will pack in a 6.39″ FullHD+ display. Now, there’s no word on IPS LCD or AMOLED, but I am hoping it’s the latter. The leak also reveals that the device will have the Snapdragon 855 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone is also said to have a 32MP pop-up camera on the front, and a triple camera setup, featuring a 48MP sensor, an 8MP sensor and a 13MP sensor, on the rear. There’s no word on which of the last two sensors are ultra-wide and telephoto. Lastly, the leak also reveals that the phone will have a microSD slot.

Well, that’s pretty much all we know about the Redmi flagship after Xiaomi CEO  Lei Jun and Redmi General Manager Weibing confirmed a Redmi phone with Snapdragon 855 earlier this month. Now, from the looks of it, the Redmi flagship is shaping up to be a great budget flagship, and I don’t mind these specs for the Poco F2 as long as they get the design right.
