To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Bitcoin genesis block, crypto-inspired graffiti artist Pascal Boyart has hidden $1,000 worth of Bitcoin inside a new mural to be found somewhere in Paris. The fresco is named after (and inspired by) the famous Eugène Delacroix artwork “La LibertĂ© guidant le peuple” (Liberty leading the people), painted in the early 19th century. Pascal has updated the piece to pay homage to the Gilet Jaunes, or Yellow Jackets – the French protest movement fighting for reprieve from an ever-increasing cost of living and an apparent indifference from president Emmanuel Macron. #StreetArt treasure hunt in…
