Ahead of the OnePlus 6T’s launch event later today in New York, Reliance Jio has announced an exclusive cashback offer for subscribers who purchase the device. The ‘Jio – OnePlus 6T Unlock the Speed Offer’ will provide a net cashback of Rs. 5,400 in the form of discount vouchers.

In order to avail the offer, Jio subscribers have to opt for the Rs. 299 prepaid plan when activating a OnePlus 6T to get an instant cashback of Rs. 150, bringing the effective price of the recharge down to just Rs. 149. The rest of the cashback will be awarded in the form of 36 vouchers every month, which brings the net benefit to Rs. 5,400.

The Rs. 299 plan offers 3GB of 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls, SMS and access to Jio’s premium services, and has a validity of 28 days. In addition to the cashback offer, a Reliance Jio spokesperson has revealed that the OnePlus 6T also will be available at Reliance Digital Stores across the country. However, it is known when the device will hit the shelves at the Reliance Digital Stores. The OnePlus 6T will go on sale from November 1 on Amazon.

As for the device itself, the OnePlus 6T is expected to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. It is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The device is expected to sport a dual rear camera set-up with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and 20-megapixel secondary sensor, while the front-facing camera will be a 20MP unit.

The OnePlus 6T will boot Android 9 Pie out of the box and will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, something that’s been officially confirmed by the company. The OnePlus 6T will also come with a Night Mode feature for low light photography.
