Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has finally launched the highly anticipated Honor 8X in India. At a starting price of Rs. 14,999, the Honor 8X brings an impressive set of features to the table, including an impressive 6.5-inch FHD+ nearly bezel-less IPS LCD display which gives it a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The Honor 8X is powered by the octa-core Kirin 710 processor, paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The device packs in a triple slot SIM tray with a dedicated microSD card slot that supports cards up to 400GB in size. With specs like these, the Honor 8X competes with the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Xiaomi Mi A2 and the Realme 2 Pro.
Like most other devices from Honor, the Honor 8X runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. While the software isn’t quite ideal, it does have its fair share of unique features that set it apart from other custom ROMs out there.
Pricing
The Honor 8X will go on sale on Amazon starting from October 24, and the device will be available in three RAM/storage variants and in blue, black and red colors. The 4/64GB variant has been priced at Rs. 14,999, while the 6GB/64GB variant has a Rs 16,999 price tag. The top-end 128GB variant with 6GB RAM has been priced at Rs. 18,999.
Availability
The new Honor 8X will go on sale exclusively on Amazon from October 24, and will be initially available in blue, black and red colors at launch.
