Home News Tech Xiaomi to Launch Redmi Note 5 Pro ‘Flame Red’ Variant in India Tomorrow

Just a day prior the launch of its upcoming Redmi 6 lineup, Xiaomi is looking to ramp up the sales of its popular and best-selling Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone by attracting the users towards the new ‘Flame Red’ color variant.

Yes, the red-color Redmi Note 5 Pro variant that landed in China earlier in June is finally making its way to India tomorrow at 10:00 AM. The Redmi India Twitter account has been teasing the launch of this new color, with the tagline ‘Get RED-y to be mesmerized’ for the past couple of days.

The teasers fall in line with a tip we had received a couple of months ago, regarding the launch of the red-colored Redmi Note 5 Pro variant in India. A banner for the device was spotted on Xiaomi India’s website, with the same Rs 14,999 price tag as all the current variant. We don’t expect a price hike for this stunning new color variant.

If you’re curious about the internals, here’s a quick look at the specs sheet of the Redmi Note 5 Pro:

Display 5.9-inch 18:9 Full-HD+ IPS display
Dimensions 158.6 x 75.4 x 8.1 mm

The Flame Red color, which is similar to last year’s Mi A1 Special Edition, is stunning but the best part is that you will instantly be able to purchase this new variant as Xiaomi has moved to an open sales model for the Redmi Note 5 Pro. So, are you a fan of red-colored smartphones? Let us know in the comments below.
