Xiaomi’s Redmi series offers some of the best value for money among smartphones right now, and each generation has managed to create great buzz in the market. The latest entrants – the Redmi 6 and the Redmi 6 Pro as well as the Redmi 6A – are all set to hit the market tomorrow. The Redmi 6 and 6 Pro will go on sale on September 5, exclusively on Amazon India.
Amazon’s Redmi 6 page has gone live, and it describes phones with high-res displays, powerful cameras, faster processors, and beefier battery units, than the last-gen models. The phones will also feature face unlock, one of the hottest trends these days.
Speaking of trends, the poster showcases 2 smartphones, one with a notch, and one without one. The notched device is obviously going to be the Redmi 6 Pro.
However, the other device could either be the Redmi 6 or the Redmi 6A, which means one of the two would be sold on a different platform. That being said, considering that both the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A look similar from the front, it could be that the poster is used to represent both the devices at the same time. We don’t know which devices are coming to India yet, so this is speculation at this point.

While the pricing still remains a question, what’s for sure is that the Redmi 6A would be the cheapest of the lot, presumably selling under Rs 8,000. The Redmi 6, which is the mid-tier of the range, would sell for probably around Rs 12,000, with the Redmi 6 Pro being the highest of the lot around Rs 16,000.
