It’s that time of year again: Microsoft is ready to announce new devices. The company just sent out invites to the press for event in New York happening October 2. Going by the company’s history, that means we should expect updates to the Surface line. That said, don’t expect that mythical Surface Phone. TNW has learned such a device won’t be announced at this event. More likely candidates are the Surface Pro, Laptop and/or Surface Studio.
