Asus has today launched the VivoBook 15 (X510) laptop in India which features a sleek design with a very lightweight build that is comparable to that of ultrabooks, and also packs quite a punch when it comes to raw processing power, speed and multimedia experience. The Asus VivoBook 15, which comes in Star Grey and Gold color options, starts at Rs. 45,990 and is now available in Asus exclusive stores and retail partners across the country.

The Asus device packs a 15.6-inch Full HD display with ultra-thin NanoEdge bezels, a refresh rate of 60Hz rate and an 80% screen-to-body ratio. The VivoBook 15 boasts of Asus’ Splendid and Tru2Life Video optimization technologies to provide a superior visual experience with realistic colors and better contrast setting, and also offers four different viewing modes depending upon the usage pattern.

The VivoBook 15 features an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U processor, paired with up to 16 gigs of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of HDD storage which is backed by Intel’s Optane memory to provide SSD-like performance. In the graphics department, the device comes equipped with an NVIDIA MX130 graphics card. For thermal management, the laptop features Asus’ IceCool technology which employs smart fan control and thin heat pipes to keep the average surface temperature below the 36°C mark.
